I mainly use found materials and reclaimed materials in my works. The most unconventional material used so far was an iron plate/sheet found in an old CRT TV Screen. The impact of using this was immediate and powerful since it required a lot of precision, decisiveness, attention, delicacy to make small drawings and various interventions on such a fragile material. It was also a bit rusty too. I couldn't touch it, but using surgical gloves. It was challenging but fun.

The most surprising way to use a material was when I took a steel mosquito net like material and painted it in ultramarine blue to fill all its tiny holes, then while it was still wet I put a straw between my lips and used that to blow away the paint and thus to make a small pixelated drawing.

Now I am working with sandpaper (net like structure). I use different cuts to make small pixels and create landscapes, vegetal structures and flowers. I like that contrast between an industrial material and the organic pixelated drawing. But what I really love about it is that it contains lab grown micro diamonds which make it all twinkle and shimmer, while you move around it. After a while I realized that there was no way to glue it on paper or other material to exhibit it, so I had to sew it on paper. It was soothing
