In my work, time serves as both medium and subject. Transport 14.24.22 captures a snapshot of global flight routes at a specific moment—14:22pm, October 25, 2024—mapping the traces of human movement across the latitude of London. These routes, visualised and transformed into sound via the structure of a piano roll, explore the relationship between tempo, pitch, and time itself. I think constantly about time while creating—both the fleeting moment I'm freezing and the duration it takes to transform it into a layered experience.

The antenna and Very low frequency antenna I set up on a rooftop to capture radio signal. The signal is directly coming from timely public transport activities.

"Speedbird 244 cleared to land 27 left, the wind 270 3 knots” - " cleared to land 27 left, Speedbird 244” A conversation between cockpit and tower caught by the antenna, while I was tracing the flight routes at 14.22pm, 25th Oct, 2024, as stated in my submitted file.

Notation transferred from the flight route mapping. How do we want to execute it??
An improvised score, think of this as a timeline of codes that can be listened to…
